It’s been a little while since I posted, and I’ve done a lot. We had a photo presentation evening to show the Guides and parents what we got up to in Switzerland. Not many parents came, but I think the Guides appreciated it. My Brownies were on fine form for their first evening back. Full of enthusiasm, just the way I like them! As they were gathering, I had some tangram puzzles laid out for them to do. We ran out of time for making them actually explode (by putting the lids on the pots), … Continue reading Exploding and burning
This week has involved two exciting Brownie events. Unit 1 had an evening at a local campsite that we use a lot. We played parachute games and made s’mores on our campfire. Around the campfire we discussed how we could make s’mores more exciting (as if they needed to be!), and I think we’ll be trying a few of the suggestions on summer camp! At … Continue reading Campfires and Dogs
