Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section, together with members of our local Scout Group, joined together to commemorate the lives lost in the World Wars. PGL Holiday

Over half term, I spent a couple of days with the Guides at PGL.  For those who don’t know it, PGL is a chain of activity centres – climbing, archery, raft building, that sort of thing. This time, we took part in eight activities: giant swing, trapeze, zip wire, survival, crate stacking, fencing, climbing and aeroball. Communication and Promises

On Wednesday we worked on our Communicator badge.  The Brownies chose some clauses to do, and so did the leaders. First, we learned the phonetic alphabet, and all tried to spell our names.  Mine is: Sierra November Oscar Whiskey Foxtrot Lima Alpha Kilo Echo.
