Crime, Sand, and Chromatography

A great crime was committed at CSI camp this week. Someone broke into the kitchen tent and stole a cake.

We called the police and he fingerprinted all the girls to find out who dunnit.

Of course, it turned out to be the young leader, and she was duly handcuffed.

We went to the beach!

There were sand sculptures, and we had a go at making our own too.

We’ve done all sorts today! We made fingerprint art, played Sherlock Holmes games, did some chromatography to find out who wrote the confession note, and had a campfire.

Campfires are the perfect way to end an evening, I think. We sang a lot of old favourites, and learnt some new songs too.
